BA: Sondre Tronstad Joins Brann
Bergens Tidende revealed on Monday that 30-year-old midfielder Sondre Tronstad was close to signing with Brann. Now, Bergensavisen reports that the deal is finalized.
The player, who has played for Blackburn over the last three seasons after a free transfer from Dutch Vitesse, will be out of contract next season. Tronstad ruptured his knee ligament in March and hasn't been seen on the pitch since.
Despite being sidelined due to medical reasons, BA has received information that he passed the medical examination. Before catching international attention with Vitesse, Tronstad played for Haugesund from 2016. The team's trainer at that time was none other than Eirik Horneland.
