Brann have sent one of their young talents out on loan for the remainder of the season. The 19-year-old player from Norheimsund will play for Arna-Bjørnar in the Eliteserien.

Young player gets game time

The player joined Brann in the winter of 2023 and has since made two appearances for the first team. During those outings, he scored one goal. In the summer of 2024, he signed an A-contract with the club. This is his second loan spell since arriving. In 2025, he spent time with Åsane in the 1. Divisjon, where he made 13 appearances and scored once.

  • I want to enjoy the last months, the player told Bergensavisen regarding the move.

Context for Brann

The move comes as Brann sit seventh in the Eliteserien with 26 points from 19 games. The team recently lost 1-2 to Lillestrøm but otherwise have a form line of two wins, two draws and one defeat in their last five. Six players are currently considering leaving the club, making squad movements important for balance. Brann's injuries list still includes Jonas Torsvik, Sakarias Opsahl and Neraysho Kansanwirjo.

The path forward

The loan to Arna-Bjørnar runs until the end of the season. The player thus gets the opportunity to gather important experience at the top level in Norway before returning to Brann. The club's sporting leadership hopes the development will strengthen the player for future challenges in the red shirt.
